Lesson 16 --- I'M NOT FOOTING THE ENTIRE BILL FOR THIS MELTDOWN
Lesson 16: I'M NOT FOOTING THE ENTIRE BILL FOR THIS MELTDOWN
  Conversation Practice
Mr. Johnson: Have we worked out all the bugs in those computers yet Marjorie?
Marjorie: The tech guys are still working on a few things Mr.Johnson. According to James, there was a lot more problems than they had bargained for. They said they'll need another day or two to get everything ship shaped.
Mr. Johnson: Okay, keep the tech guys working, but get on the horn this morning with the computer manufacturer. I'm not footing the entire bill for this meltdown.
Marjorie: Yes Mr. Johnson. What exactly do you want me to relay to them?
Mr. Johnson: First of all, tell them in no uncertain terms that I expect them to send a team over here this afternoon to assist our guys, then let them know that we'll be expecting them to chip in for part of the cost for getting the system back in working order.
Marjorie: All right. What should I do if I ran into a stone wall?
Mr. Johnson: If they give you any difficulties at all, patch them through to me personally, I'll handle it.
